A forthcoming event on Saturday 3rd November will be a Continental
Market.
The traders will come from the Continent to sell authentic
quality food from their respective countries wearing their local
costume.
Particular attention is given to the stall’s decoration
representing the area where the trader comes from.
This market was
created originally through a trader’s co-operative created in 1992
consisting of 20 permanent individual traders selling mainly French
goods.
It was developed into a Continental market by adding to the group
some traders from Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland, Turkey and
Spain.
As a follow on there will be a French Market on Sunday 2nd
December.
Details of Christmas closing dates will follow in due course.
